Translating Your Tour

Back

With Translate Your Tour you can attract and please international visitors by offering your tour in up to 20 languages. You can choose the route you wish to take in converting your tour to other languages:

(1)  Premium approach:  If you are experienced in translation, you will discover that Translate Your Tour has everything needed to internationalize your tour with professional translators.  TYT is even compatible with special professional translation software called Trados and DejaVu.  If you desire professional translation, but have no translator for some or all languages, TYT will be pleased to translate for you.

(2) Economy approach:   if you have colleagues or friends who can translate, TYT makes it easy for them to translate right online or in an Excel or MS Word file with tables.

(2) Super-economy approach:  at a click of your mouse,  Translate Your Tour will automatically translate your tour using the built-in automated translation software.  Because automatic translation is not perfect,  TYT is designed to enable you to invite friends, colleagues, and even customers to improve the results of the automated translation right online.

Glossary

In all cases – most especially for automated translation – Translate Your Tour provides a glossary feature.  The Glossary is your own person dictionary that can be completed as you work on your tour, and into the future.  With a professional translator, the glossary assures that your translations are harmonious and consistent.  For automated translation, a glossary helps you guide the translation software so that it does not make as many traditional errors of “judgment”.

Maintaining and Improving

TYT is a web application, your tour content can be improved anytime by anyone to whom you provide a password. If desired, you can internationalize in stages.  For example, perform professional translation for a few languages and use the built-in automated translation for others.  Or automated now, and improve the results over time.  Whatever works for you.
